I am looking for the parents of William CALDWELL, b. circa 1789 in Cumberland Co, Pennsylvania and disappeared c. 1833 in Hagerstown, Maryland. Married c 1820 to Susanna CURFMAN. They had 4 children, David S. b. 1822 in Cumberland Co, PA; Daniel, Angeline and William. David S. Caldwell married 1. Sarah CREAGER and 2. Sarah Jane DOYLE. He served as a Union chaplain during the Civil War and was imprisoned and escaped thru the tunnel at Libby Prison. He is both my great-great and my great-great-great grandfather.
