CaldwellGenealogy.com Discussion ForumIts a bit quiet here

Date: 18:42 10/14/04 I just ask that a few people try and post up some interesting general research on the Caldwell Family. The strength of this site is that there are a few people that post up general interest Caldwell stories or speculative fantasies (or even real facts). In every way this keeps the site alive and interesting. If anyone can help by adding to this database it will serve us all well. Asking for help in finding your family is perhaps useful if it works out but it is generally about as useful as shootng a shotgun at the moon. The name might not be all that common but nevertheless there are a lot of Caldwell's out there (deceased and still living). Those that do not know much are "bludging" (Australian term) on those that have worked for years patiently building up a database. Those that have the information have to sift through a mountain of information to connect someone up. If you have information to share you have something of interest to another researcher directly proportional to the amount that you have to offer in return. I have a filing cabinet of Caldwell information that I am willing to share with anyone that has another filing cabinet of information. Unfortunately for US researchers it is mainly Scottish and Australian information. Hey, its a lot of work guys, get of your butts and come back to the site with some reearch of your own. Apologies to Jerry Gagnon, the two David's, Plunkett, and all the others who have been assiduous and very helpful contributors to the site. ... and thank you again John for making it all possible. Please keep asking for help, but try and give something useful to others in return Tom Messages In This Thread
