Just wanted to share my story with others so here goes. A few weeks ago I happened upon this site and told my mother, Beverly C. Duesing (Caldwell) about it. Then last week I came back to see how far this site went back. I was looking at the guestbook and saw my half brother, from my fathers first marriage had signed and left no message. The last memory I had of my brother and sister was when I was in sixth grade.....and I'm 24 years old now. I was so excited...I actually paid money to do one of those people searches on the internet....I found some old addresses and a phone number. When I tried the phone number I was bummed to find that the number had been disconnected. Then I tried my grandmother, who also had lost contact with them. She didn't have a phone number either. So as a last ditch effort I typed John Caldwell an email to see if he had my brothers email address and told my story. I asked him if he could forward my message on to my brother. He quickly replied and said that he did have it and would forward my email. He forwarded the email, and my brother emailed me back that night. Today I was actually able to speak with both my brother and my sister on the phone. Hopefully very soon we will meet and get to catch up even more. This has been a great week for me....and I owe alot of it to this site and John Caldwell. Thank you so much for helping me out. I appreciate it so much.
