Templars exonerated
By:Rozanne E. Folk
Date: 00:50 12/15/05

By the way, there was a ceremony in Rome in June 2003 where a Roman Catholic priest presided over the first Knight Templar ceremony since 1307. It was reported in the Sunday Herald that a document had been found at the Vatican that proved charges of devil worship, homosexuality, and most of the other accusations made against the Templars were concocted. Pope Clement V was not totally in favor of the suppression of the Templars, and is now recognized as having privately forgiven them. The Pope issued an apology.

4 years short of 700 years later.
