The "Right in Front of Your Face" Award
By:Rozanne E. Folk
Date: 22:42 12/19/05

Yepper - that's right - I get the award.

I was having a new set of tires put on my 4-Runner (Toyota) and since I had to wait, I ran home to pick up reading = The First Crusade and the Registrum.

I recorded the entry titles on the 20 pages before and after the Caldwell entry. I began to notice that several persons were being referred to as the King of the Scots.....and you just know my mind suddenly went "hmmmmm".

With that written for translation, I then went back to the introduction at the front of the Registrum, which is in English. I was going to start at the rear and read the footnotes forward. It was then I saw the title "Tabula" - Table of Contents, which I had not noticed before for some reason. It shows our entry title, and in (xx), it gave the year 1294.

So - there it is!! We have a definite year!!
