Britonic Theory is going to the Dogs
By:David A. Caldwell
Date: 00:49 1/30/06

A while back David Caldwell, Manitoba (originaly Ayrshire) posted this meddage:

"The list of Ancient British Kings has names similar in phonetics to ours:-

Casswallan 62 BC,
Cadwan of Cumbria,
Caradawc of Archenfield,
Cadell Dernllwg,
Cunedd of Strathclyde, Tudwall of Galloway.
Cadda and his grandson Caedwalla have a British sounding name although he ruled the Western Saxons so maybe intermarriage.

Have to close to go to church, hope this keeps the fire smoldering."

I thought he would be amused to know that the name of King Arthur's dog was Cavall, which ancient stories say he used to hunt monsters from the other world that arose from lakes, springs and wells. (Jean Markale, The Celts (1976), p. 172.)
