A little historical snippet

What was this all about? Wasn't this pretty close to the time when Gilchrist More married the Caldwell heiress? It was certainly not long before William Caldwell became Chancellor.

The Caldwell family followed the Stewart pattern of lordship in Kyle and Renfrew.
