Im searching for Adam Caldwell,d.1831,husband of Phoebe Galion,d.1848. Adam was the father of Alexander Samuel Caldwell,d.1859 (wife=Matilda Watson Sheppard,1823-1904), who was the father of Alexander Samuel Caldwell,1857-1905,(wife=Maggie Winston), who was the father of my grandfather, Houston Watson Caldwell. This is pretty much the total I have. I know that Houston was born in Nashville,TN and lived there, but I don't know where the previous generations were from. I do know they were Presbyterian. My g'father always said his ancestors were Scots pirates.
